OEM / ODM and private-label collections

For a brand, importer or distributor, start with your product range, specifications, quantities and destination market. Record branding, packaging, sampling and approval requirements in the OEM / ODM buyer brief.

Furniture for private villas and residences

For your own home or a residential design project, prepare a room-by-room furniture list with reference images, drawings, dimensions, quantities and finish preferences.

Separate loose furniture from any built-in joinery requests.
Identify who will approve drawings, materials and samples.
Include delivery access, destination, timing and any installation requirements for review.

Fields to include in your brief

Order scope: Your company and sales channel, destination, and planned quantity by product and finish.
Product specification: Product references, drawing revision, dimensions and units. Identify the details still to be confirmed.
Materials and finishes: Material or finish codes, colour references and any performance requirements for the intended use.
Sample approval: The sample to review, the person approving it, required checks and changes awaiting approval.
Branding and packaging: Label artwork, barcodes, carton marks and product protection. State any assembly or distribution requirements.
Delivery scope: Requested delivery window, shipment plan and the costs or services you need included in the quotation.

Compare OEM furniture quotations on the same basis

Use the same drawing revision, quantities, materials, finish codes and delivery terms for each quotation. Ask for product costs and any sampling, branding, packing or shipment services to be listed separately, with inclusions, exclusions and open items stated.

For sofa orders, add the sofa specification and sample checklist to your brief. Importers can use the importer order checklist to prepare product, commercial, specification and export details.

Approve revisions before production

After sample review, record each agreed change against the drawing revision and material or finish reference. Request confirmation of any effect on price, packing or delivery before releasing the updated specification for production.

Use the furniture manufacturing process to plan approval points and the quality-control review to agree the checks and records required for the order. For repeat orders, identify the approved version and confirm any changed materials, labels or packaging.

Tell the Lenatees team which documents you need to review: a drawing revision, material reference, sample approval record or inspection plan.
